Documents to submit in Step 1 (2023-2024 application submission period)

Your spokesperson must submit the documents required to support your undertaking applications.

The documents to submit in your application vary according to your guarantor class.

Keep the originals and certified copies of the documents you transmit. They may be requested from you when your application is examined.

Documents to submit for groups of 2 to 5 natural persons (2023-2024)

The person who represents you must submit the following documents:

  • For each group member
  • For each undertaking application.

Documents for each group member

Copy of identity documents

Each member of your group must provide a copy of one of the following identity documents:

  • A Québec health insurance card;
  • A Canadian passport;
  • A Canadian citizenship card;
  • A Canada permanent resident card;
  • A driver’s licence issued in Canada.

The identity documents serve to prove that all the members of your group are natural persons. 

Form

The person who represents you must:

  1. Using a computer, fill out form A-0546-BF Step 1 of the Undertaking Application - Group of 2 to 5 individuals (2023-2024) (PDF 581 Kb) for each person you wish to sponsor and their family members;
  2. Ensure that each member of the group has read and signed the forms.
  3. Scan the forms once they’ve been signed

Any illegible form will make your application ineligible.

Procedure for submitting application forms via Arrima

  1. Gather and scan all required documents for each group member;
  2. Create an undertaking application for each person in your group, then upload the completed and signed forms;
  3. Upload each required document by selecting the name from the drop-down menu;
  4. Submit your application(s) by clicking on "Submit".

Documents to be sent for legal persons (2023-2024)

The person who represents you must submit these documents:

  • For your legal person (organization) folder;
  • For each of your undertaking applications.

Documents for the legal person folder

Your legal person folder must contain all of the documentation specific to your organization. The documents to submit in your legal person folder are as follows:  

Copy of the resolution of the legal person

Your spokesperson must submit a copy of the Board of Directors resolution.  This resolution must identify:

  • The person designated by the legal person as spokesperson to sign, submit and present undertaking applications and communicate on its behalf with the Ministère;
  • The full first name and last name of the principal sponsored person for each undertaking application that will be submitted.
     

Copy of an identity document of your spokesperson

Your spokesperson must submit a copy of one of the following identity documents:

  • A Québec health insurance card
  • A Canadian passport;
  • A Canadian citizenship card;
  • A Canada permanent resident card;
  • A driver’s licence issued in Canada.
     

Copy of the Statement of Information

Your spokesperson must submit an up-to-date copy of the Statement of Information of a Legal Person in the Québec Enterprise Register.

Form

Here are the steps in completing and transmitting the form for each of your applications for an undertaking.

The person who represents you must:

  1. Using a computer, fill out the form A-0546-F1 Step 1 of the Undertaking Application - Legal Person (2023-2024) (PDF 484 Kb) for each person you wish to sponsor and their family members. 
  2. Ensure that each member of the group has read and signed the forms;
  3. Scan signed forms.

Any illegible form will make your application ineligible.

Procedure for submitting application forms via Arrima

  1. Gather and scan all documents required as part of the legal entity's application;
  2. Create a file for the legal entity, upload the required documents and submit the legal entity's file;
  3. For each undertaking application, create an undertaking application, then upload the completed and signed forms;
  4. Submit your undertaking application(s) by clicking on "Submit".
