A notary prepares, drafts or presents several types of requests for clients. In non-litigated and uncontested cases, a notary may represent the parties in requests involving the following:
Probate of handwritten (holograph) wills or wills made before witnesses
Institution of protective supervision and homologation of a protection mandate
Adoption
Legal recognition of property rights
Voluntary division of property
Acquisition of property rights by prescription
Entry in the Land Register or the Register of Personal and Movable Real Rights
Correction, reduction or cancellation of an entry in one or the other of the above-mentioned registers
Cancellation of an entry or of the filing of a declaration in the register under Chapter II of the Act respecting the legal publicity of enterprises, or correction or deletion of inaccurate information in said register
