Distribution of proceeds

The proceeds from the sale of your movable and immovable property after seizure are distributed in a fixed order. The proceeds are used to pay:

  1. execution costs (indluding, in particular, the bailiff’s costs, the cost of the sale and the legal costs of the seizing creditor);
  2. prior claims;
  3. hypothecary claims;
  4. unsecured claims (debts for which no security or guarantee was provided).

For more information, contact a bailiff or legal advisor.
