About the Rénoclimat program

The Rénoclimat government program supports homeowners in improving their home’s energy performance and reducing energy consumption by providing personalized advice and financial assistance for certain energy efficiency retrofits.

The Rénoclimat program is administered by the Ministère de l’Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs.

The Rénoclimat program is part of the implementation plan for the Plan pour une économie verte 2030.

The Canada Greener Homes Loan program no longer accepts new applications

This program no longer accepts new applications since October 1, 2025. Consult all the details on the Canada Greener Homes Loan website.

The Canada Greener Homes Grant no longer accepts new applications

Eligible participants in Québec had until September 30, 2025, to have the post-retrofit energy evaluation carried out.This deadline applied only to federal grants. The Rénoclimat program of the Gouvernement du Québec has no planned end date and still accepts new applications.
