Information on the debtor’s situation

As a creditor, you are entitled to be informed about the debtor’s situation.

The debtor has 10 days to inform the court office of any change in the information contained in his or her declaration, and must also update the information annually.

In every case, the clerk will notify you of any declaration of a change in the debtor’s situation.

Failure by the debtor to comply with an undertaking

A debtor who fails to comply with an undertaking has 30 days, from the date of notification of a notice by the clerk, to remedy the situation.

If the debtor does not remedy the situation, he or she loses the benefit of voluntary deposit.
